Basic DBS System Outage

The DBS have made us aware that there is a technical issue affecting the Basic DBS system. This means that at present, we can neither submit Basic DBS applications, nor receive updates about Basic DBS applications that are in process.

If you are using Personnel Checks to process Basic DBS applications, you will still be able to:

  • Complete Basic DBS application forms.

  • Verify your Subject’s identity.

  • “Submit” the application form.

However, when you submit the application, it will be queued until the DBS’ systems return to normal.

As it stands, we do not know how long it will take to resolve this issue. However, in our experience, the DBS resolve high-priority issues like this within a matter of hours, usually less than 24.

The DBS have stated they will provide us with an update as soon as possible. As soon as we have that information, we will update this page.
